A TEENAGER has been charged after a gun was found at a Sheldon home.
West Midlands Police said armed officers armed officers raided the property Tuesday morning (November 7) as part of a Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCUWM) investigation.
It added a live handgun loaded with ammunition was found in a bedroom.
A 17-year-old boy, who has not been named due to his age, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm.
He was set before magistrates in Birmingham today (November 8).
The arrest is part of Operation Target – the force’s ongoing commitment to tackle serious and organised crime in the West Midlands.
