A TEENAGER is set to appear in court in connection with the death of Kelvin Ward in Castle Bromwich.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named due to his age, was arrested in connection with the death of the 50-year-old in Chester Road on April 18.
He has been charged with murder and violent disorder and has been remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on April 24.
West Midlands Police were granted a court extension to continue to question a 28-year-old man who was also arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday evening (April 21).
The force is still appealing for anyone with information which could assist in the investigation to come forward.
