A WEST Midlands childrens charity has received the backing of a supermarket in Castle Bromwich to supply it with toys.
Jack’s Supermarket, on Timberley Lane, teamed up with Matt’s Mission Children’s Charity as the charity put out a call for more supplies.
Run by Matt Denning, who in previous months was to be seen dressed as Captain America outside Game in Solihull, Matt’s Mission was started 2011 after his grandad was diagnosed with cancer.
During his grandfather’s illness, Matt raised funds for the hospital and met a sick child – he continues to support a number of sick children nine years later.
The charity grants wishes to children with serious illnesses, such as Cancer and Complex Needs, and over the past few weeks the charity has extended their services to help with the coronavirus relief efforts in Castle Bromwich.
Jack’s donated children’s toys, food supplies and other general essentials.

Jack’s is involved with charity work in Castle Bromwich, currently offering £500 grants to charities and organisations who have helped with the Covid-19 relief efforts as well as collecting donations at the front of the store for FareShare.
