VETERANS from Royal Star and Garter in Solihull have marked Remembrance.
The Home held its service on Monday (November 10) and also had an in-house church service on Remembrance Sunday.
The service on Monday featured a two-minute silence, a bagpiper, a bugler playing The Last Post and hymns.
There were readings from staff, relatives and a Day Care user, before wreaths were laid.
Afterwards residents took part in a Remembrance quiz.
Also attending were Armed Forces representatives from Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Birmingham City Football Club Foundation.
The Solihull home, which cares for veterans and their families, living with disability or dementia, hosted several events in the run-up to Remembrance, including poppy-based arts and crafts activities.
