St Bernard's in Bloom gardeners ready to open

Solihull Editorial 18th Jun, 2023   0

OLTON gardeners have been pruning, digging and weeding ready to showcase their work and raise funds for charity.

St Bernard’s in Bloom will see 12 gardens open on June 25 for all to have a look around and boost coffers for the Stroke Association.

There will be a host of other activities along St Bernard’s Road from 1pm until 5pm

At the refreshment garden, there will be tea, cakes and samosas and the event will see a return of last year’s Pimms garden with live jazz and singers.

There will also be a children’s quiz with budding gardeners called on to explore the gardens to find answers to the clues provided.

A plant stall and a raffle have also been organised.

Entry to all gardens costs £5 for adults and children go free.

Organisers say most gardens have good access for disabled guests and well-behaved dogs are welcome with permission of individual garden owners.
