A BLAST of colour is set to be added to The Core as Holi celebrations get under way.
On March 19 there will be a number of activities on offer for families to have a go at while finding out a little more about the Hindu Festival of Colour.
From 10am until 4pm there will be free and paid for activities including Splat Art workshop, mini kaleidoscope making and a giant colour weave hosted by Art at the Heart CIC.
Children between the ages of five and 18 can also enter the Holi Colour Creation Competition for the chance to win arty prizes including a £300 drawing workshop, provided by Art at the Heart CIC, if a winning entry is submitted via a school or organisation.
The deadline for this competition is March 17 with winners being judged and announced by the Mayor of Solihull on the festival day.
The paid for activities need to be pre-booked.
