DELICIOUS cakes were on offer in Berkswell to help raise funds for Ukrainian families.
Spencer’s Retreat Farm raised £930 at its cake sale and donations day which saw shoe boxes full of items ready to go to those who have fled their homes following the Russian invasion.
Simon Morris, chair of The Langdale Trust, and co-founder and co-creator of Spencer’s Retreat, said: “The community came together, it was an amazing day and all stand together in solidarity with Ukraine.
“The community came out to support the event with £930 raised totalling £1,162.50 with gift aid and with the government matching every it turns our £930 into £2325.50.”
