A SOLIHULL opticians is set to officially open the doors to its new home as the team celebrate the store’s 31st anniversary.
Specsavers is moving to the former Poundland store in 51-53 High Street, just a stone’s throw away from its current premises, and work is nearly complete ahead of the opening.
The Mayor of Solihull, Coun Shahin Ashraf, will be attending to cut the ribbon and officially open the store, which includes nine test rooms and improved wheelchair access for customers.
There will be balloons and cake to celebrate the opening and anniversary, and the local community are invited to attend.
Locally owned and run by current directors, Rehan Bhatti and Ramiz Ahmed, Specsavers Solihull is passionate about bringing the best possible service to benefit eye health in the local community.
Store director Rehan said: “There’s not long to go now until we relocate and the team are really excited
“We’ve served the community for 31 years now which is a brilliant achievement and so it’s great to be able to mark the milestone with the new space which offers a modern and accessible space for our customers.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming the community to the official opening celebrations and we’re delighted to have the Mayor attending to cut the ribbon too.
“We’re grateful that she is taking the time to join us as we celebrate our new store and 31st anniversary.”
