Spacechips are go as celebrity rocket scientist heads for NEC

A CELEBRITY rocket scientist is to open NEC’s Advanced Engineering Exhibition this November.

Dr Rajan Bedi is chief executive of Spacechips, a British SME that designs the electronics o-board satellites and spacecraft to address societal challenges such as digital divide, climate change, food sustainability, disaster management, telemedicine, smart cities and Covid-19.

The company won European Start-Up of the Year in 2017 while Dr Bedi won Great British Disruptive Entrepreneur of 2020 while its inventions won High-Reliability Product of 2016, 2017 and 2018.

The company has delivered over 200 orders to 70 customers in 25 countries across 19 time zones.




“I’m excited to be visiting and speaking at the NEC later this year, and look forward to meeting attendees and other local manufacturers,” said Dr Bedi.
