WATERCOLOURS, pencil sketches and oil paintings were on show at an exhibition created by novice artists in Solihull.
Art students from the Seasons Art Class showcased their work they created from a 14-week course.
Some of those on the course were novices and other had some experience but over time the group were shown how to work with watercolours, oil paints and acrylics to create their masterpieces.
Artist in residence Chris Davies, who teaches the group, said he was enormously proud of how far the artists had come in just a short space of time.
Owner of Solihull Seasons Art Class, Mark Gibson, said: “I am so proud of the students and how well the exhibition went.
“It’s amazing how people can come out with this talent thanks to some guidance from our artist in residence.”
Observer photographer Jon Mullis went along to capture the action.
