Solihull's Evie to represent England in the Dance World Cup Finals

A TALENTED girl from Solihull will be travelling to Portugal at the end of June to represent England in the Dance World Cup Finals.

Evie-Bella, aged 10, who attends Greswold Primary School will compete in Braga, after auditioning with more than 120,000 children to gain a place alongside her team-mates in the final. Over 60 countries taking part in the final .

Evie will be taking part in 12 qualified dances with a mixture of group dances and duets and trios. She will participate in acro, ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical and showdance routines.

Evie -Bella attends Jordon School of Dance and Performing Arts in Halesowen where she trains three days-a-week with principals Donna and Joanne May.

Evie-Bella said it would be a great experience.

“We have all been working so hard to get our dances reading for the final.




“I love dancing and can’t wait to represent England.

“I’m really looking forward to performing in the lyrical group.


“I hope I do my dance teachers proud . I have really enjoyed learning all the dances with my dance friends.”

Matt Hornsey, deputy headteacher of Greswold Primary, said: “We are always immensely proud of the achievements of our pupils both in school and also outside in the wider world.

“Evie-Bella is a perfect role model to the rest of the school community about how hard work, dedication and enjoyment of what we she does can result in memorable experiences that will last a life time.

“Well done Evie-Bella, we are all rooting for you.”
