Solihull Together Awards: Less than a week to get nominations in

Solihull Editorial 30th Jan, 2018   0

NOMINATIONS for the Solihull Together for Better Lives Awards will close at midday on Monday (February 5).

If you are planning to nominate a worthy contender, in one of the nine award categories, you have just six days left to tell their story.

The Observer-supported Awards recognise and celebrate individuals and organisations who are working together to make life better for Solihull frail and vulnerable residents.

Over the past three years the awards have helped to uncover many inspiring stories.

Is your local community pharmacy helping local people stay independent? Are any local businesses in your area doing great things to support people living with dementia and their families?

How about a family friend, neighbour or unsung hero in your community? Give something back to them by nominating them for the Local Hero award for 2018.

Or what about a thank you for fantastic customer care? Who goes the extra mile to help adults in Solihull? It could be an individual or a team working in the voluntary, public or private sector.

Those working in health and care across Solihull, are you part of a great project supporting adults which brings together teams from different organisations or different parts of your organisation? The team could win the Collaborative Working award for 2018.

Details of all nine award categories and the online nomination form can be found online by visiting www.solihulltogether.co.uk/awards

The shortlisted finalists will be announced in the Solihull Observer at the beginning of March.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday March 22 at the Renewal Conference Centre.
