Solihull to host Parkinson’s Café for patients and loved ones

Solihull Editorial 22nd Jun, 2021   0

PARKINSON’S sufferers and their loved ones are being invited for a cuppa and support at a new group.

The Solihull Branch of Parkinson’s UK will be hosting Parkinson’s Café to get support, find out what is on offer in the borough and get to know others with the disease.

The first café will be held today (Thursday, June 24) between 10.30am and 12.30pm at the Bistro at the Solihull Retirement Village on Stratford Road in Shirley.

It will then be held every other Thursday morning.

Everyone is welcome if they have Parkinson’s or are affected by the condition in any way.

Martin Sewell, chair of the Solihull branch, said: “This is a great opportunity for us to reach more people affected by the condition in the Solihull area with information and support, and thanks to our friends at the Solihull Retirement Village we are able to hold this in such a marvellous location in the heart of the community.”
