A SOLIHULL swimmer made a splash for charity when she raised £870.
Hannah Quibell swam 31 miles in 31 days in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK and Blood Cancer UK in memory of her two grandmothers.
The 22-year-old took on the challenge last month at Virgin Active in Shirley.
Hannah said: “I was a keen competitive swimmer when younger, but have not set flipper in a pool for almost four years.
“I decided to set this challenge to get me back into fitness, and thought it was the perfect way to do something for others – raising money in memory of both my nan’s that battled these illnesses.”
As a youngster Hannah swam for Solihull Swimming Club and won a number of championships and trophies.
