Solihull streets turn pink for Cancer Research

THE STREETS of Solihull have become home to bright pink ‘for sale’ signs to raise awareness and money for Cancer Research UK.

Black and Golds estate agents have gone pink for the month of November and throughout the month all the firm’s ‘for sale’ boards will change from the usual brand colours of black and gold to an eye-catching pink.

Silhillians are being encouraged to get involved with the fundraising project which has been branded the big pink board hunt.

For every time a person takes a picture of one of the pink boards, and shares it on social media using #BlackandGolds, £3 will be donated to cancer research.

Company director Mike Dingley said: “We have been looking to raise money for a good cause and one charity kept coming back to the forefront of our discussions – and that cause was cancer research. Most people, either directly or indirectly, have been affected by cancer so cancer research became the obvious choice.”

Black and Golds will also be donating £100 for every new property instructed during the month of November.
