Felix Nobes 23rd Jan, 2018

SOLIHULL small firms have been urged to join in a business exhibition this weekend.

‘Your Local Business Exhibition’ is a new event organised by small businesswoman Lucy-Anne Fowkes.

Small business enterprises are invited to set up a stand to introduce their products and services to the public – all under one roof.

Promoters say the businesses on show at the exhibition will all be independent and local to Solihull.

There will be exclusive discounts and deals available to customers on the day.

Many businesses to have already signed up for the event are supported by The Prince’s Trust Enterprise Programme.

The exhibition will take place on Sunday (January 28) at The Royal British Legion, Shirley, Parkgate from 11am to 3pm.

Miss Birmingham, Niamh Conway, as well as the Mayor and Mayoress of Solihull, Coun Stuart Davis and daughter Sarah Walker, will be present during the proceedings and will address audiences.

Lucy-Anne Fowkes said: “As a new business owner myself, I wanted to create an event where other entrepreneurs can showcase their businesses to the local community!

“It is has already become a great network of Solihull entrepreneurs”

“Everyone is welcome! There really is something for everyone at this event; From beauty, jewellery to the latest cleaning companionship service.”
