CELEBRATIONS are in order as Solihull College has been named in the Top 100 Most Inclusive UK Employers Index for 2024.
Solihull Sixth Form College ranked 78 on the list which celebrates organisations championing Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement (FREDIE).
The College has been accredited with the Investor in Diversity award since 2017 following a series of assessments by the National Centre for Diversity, carried out every two years.
The last assessment in 2023 praised the College’s “positive and inclusive culture” and noted there is “a positive environment for wellbeing and good mental health”.
Anisa Lokat-Fanning, associate assistant principal, who leads Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Solihull Sixth Form College, said: “I’m proud of this achievement. The College has worked hard as a community to create an inclusive environment for our young people and staff members alike it’s gratifying to see that this has been recognised once again by the National Centre for Diversity.”
