TWO Solihull shop owners have been caught selling razor blades and craft knifes to a 16-year-old ‘agent provocateur’ volunteer in a trading standards sting.
Solihull council’s trading standards team said: “We recently carried out an exercise where a 16-year-old volunteer attempted to buy bladed articles from shops in Solihull.
“Two shops sold razor blades and craft knives to the child.
“It is illegal to do so to people under the age of 18.
“We will take the necessary action against the premises that sold the products.”
We put more questions to Solihull Council.
