A SOLIHULL school has raised over £325 for vital cancer research at their Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Parents, carers and community members were invited to catch up over refreshments during the annual fundraiser at Lyndon School.
Students served tea, coffee, homemade cakes and treats, and sold raffle tickets, throughout the well-attended event.
Abid Butt, principal at Lyndon School, said: “It was wonderful to welcome so many people to our Macmillan Coffee Morning – helping us to raise vital funds for cancer research.
“The event is also an important opportunity to teach our learners the importance of community and the positive role they can play in helping others.
“They really enjoyed planning and delivering an event, and we are all proud to be a part of the Macmillan Coffee Morning. Thank you to everyone who gave their support.”
