A GRAND total of £780.04 was raised when staff and clients came together at a Hermitage Road hairdressers in Solihull for their Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Hair by Sharon Estelle always pulls out the stops for the major fundraiser for the caring cancer charity but this year, what with lockdown, pandemics and everything else thinking outside the box was the order of the day.
“Macmillan was a little different this year but staff and clients came together with donations for tombola and we had a donated teddy with a mask on and raised £60 alone from our guest the name competition,” said Sharon.
“We also had a guess the number of sprinkles on Colin the Cake!
“The salon was all decorated and we had a great day.
“April, Shannon and Millie ran the tombola, there were no cakes this year but customers donated and we raised an amazing amount.
“I would like to thank all those involved. As a salon owner I’m overwhelmed for the result. So a note to all our amazing clients – a massive thank you.”
