SILHILLIANS can now register to take part in the latest round of a scheme which has already helped thousands go green and save money on their energy bills.
The Switch Together Energy, formerly known by the name Big Community Switch, brings households together to negotiate exclusive, fixed-rate tariffs with vetted suppliers.
By pooling their buying power, communities can secure better deals than households could achieve individually.
Participation is completely free, and there is no obligation to switch.
Councillor Andy Mackiewicz, cabinet member for Climate Change and Planning, said: “Solihull Council is proud to partner with Switch Together Energy. We want to help our residents access fair, transparent energy deals, just as we work to make other household costs easier to manage.
“This is a simple, no-obligation way for people to fix their energy tariff and protect themselves from future price rises.”
Residents will receive a personal offer on April 14 and have until May 15 to register and accept an offer.
