BRAVE folk are being called on to walk over burning coals for charity.
Breast Cancer Haven, West Midlands is hosting a Firewalk at the Silhillians Sports Club on November 2 at 6.30pm.
Walkers will stroll over 20-feet of red hot wood embers at a blistering 1,000 degrees fahrenheit – but with full training provided beforehand.
Elysa Cooper, fundraiser for the St Bernard’s Road centre said: “We’re so excited to launch our first Firewalk event to raise funds to support local men and women affected by breast cancer.
“We’ve got local businesses taking part alongside service users, their friends and family. If you fancy doing something different, come and join us.”
The money raised will go to Breast Cancer Haven which supports those going through breast cancer treatment.
