Solihull pub is hosting Oktoberfest event with live music and German-themed food

A SOLIHULL pub will be celebrating renowned German beer festival ‘Oktoberfest’ with a fortnight of fun-themed activities this autumn.

Running throughout September and October, O’Neill’s Solihull will be taking part in a whole host of activities including an evening of German-themed festivities and a variety of live music entertainment over each weekend in October from Reggae, Scar, Britpop, as well as Punk bands.

Alongside this, the Oktoberfest celebrations will include a limited time offer on Paulaner beer stein and bratwurst.

Traditionally, Oktoberfest is held annually in the Bavarian city of Munich, Germany, and is a 16–18-day folk festival running from mid or late September to the first weekend in October.

Luke Billingsley, general manager, at O’Neill’s Solihull said: “We can’t wait for guests to experience the Oktoberfest celebrations at the O’Neill’s Solihull this year. It’s going to be a great event with the team looking forward to welcoming guests to celebrate with us.

“And don’t forget, fancy dress is optional!”.
