SOLIHULL Preparatory School’s Under 11 Boys’ football team has enjoyed some well-deserved national recognition.
The team have won the plate competition at the Independent Association of Prep Schools national final.
Ed Carne, Assistant Head of Sport, Health and Fitness said: “All the pupils involved should be really proud of their efforts during the qualifying and national competitions.
“As a football team they have been very well organised, working hard with and without the ball.
“They’ve made themselves very difficult to play against, the boys were involved in four penalty shootouts over the regional and national rounds, and they managed to win them all, quite remarkable.”
