VEHICLE crime has been a key focus for officers in Solihull with a number of cars seized.
The Chelmsley Wood team spotted a car which had been stolen a day before in Water Orton.
Officers recovered it and are working to reunite it with its owner.
The team recovered another suspected stolen car nearby after it had made off from officers last week.
The car had false plates and was confirmed as stolen when the officers found it.
Another good result for the Chelmsley Wood team saw them recover a stolen moped which had been hidden in some bushes.
Another suspected stolen car was found by the Lyndon, Elmdon, Olton and Silhill team, who recovered the pick-up truck after it was found in the area.
All the recovered vehicles are being examined before being returned to their rightful owners.
Elsewhere in the borough, officers from the Shirley neighbourhood team took part in the Solihull School Streets initiative in Clifton Crescent, which encourages drivers to avoid using the road at school start and end times.
This is part of a campaign to keep schoolchildren safe while walking to and from school.
