Solihull police arrest teen after child hit with a bottle in Dorridge

POLICE officers investigating the ‘bottling’ of a child in Dorridge have arrested a suspect.

On April 22, a child was struck with a bottle hurled from a moving car, while a woman was covered in a drink on Four Ashes Road, Dorridge.

Officers have revealed the man arrested is also wanted in connection with five assaults.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: “An 18-year-old was arrested on May 10 on suspicion of five assaults. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.”




They added the child and woman were not hurt in the incident.
