A SOLIHULL photographer has been shortlisted for a top award.
Ewen MacRury is in line for British Photography Award’s Commercial: Product Category.
And the stage of the contest is now open to the public vote, running until October 20.
The automotive and event photographer’s submission Santa Fe: Black Rock Sands was shot on location in Wales.
It was shot using a slow shutter speed to enhance the movement of the car traveling through the sea as it retreated back along the beach.
Ewen said: “It has been an honour to be shortlisted for the second time for such a prestigious award and be recognised by peers for the creative work I have created.
“Support from local groups means a lot to me. It is local people, friends and colleagues who have supported me to reach this point, and it is now down to a public vote to secure the top spot in the competition.”
The British Photography Awards see over 3500 image submissions over 20 categories from Landscapes to Sports and Architecture to Weddings.
The best of British photography is judged by industry leaders, journalists and educators making it one of the UK’s most respected showcases of photographic talent.
