IT’S ALL eyes on a Solihull opticians which opened its doors to its new home.
Specsavers in Solihull, which is celebrating 31 years in the community, has moved into a much larger space on High Street, on the back of continuing demand.
The new store, which is just a stone’s throw away from the previous location, was officially opened by the Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Shahin Ashraf.
State-of-the-art equipment has been installed throughout the new store, including an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) machine.
This technology allows the optometrist to take a 3D image of the back of your eye to help spot serious eye conditions, including glaucoma, up to four years earlier.
The team at Specsavers Solihull is headed up by store directors, Ramiz Ahmed and Rehan Bhatti, who together have 24 years’ experience.
Rehan said: “Lots of work has gone on behind the scenes to get the new store ready and a big thank you to all the team for their ongoing support throughout it all.
“The move allows us to provide a better customer experience, with nine test rooms and improved wheelchair access, alongside a better working environment for our team too. We’re really excited for our new chapter.”
