A PAIR of Solihull opticians are putting the kettle on to prepare for two coffee mornings in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Specsavers stores in Solihull and Shirley are each hosting a cake sale on September 29, alongside a raffle in aid of the charity that provides specialist physical, financial and emotional support to those affected by cancer.
Rehan Bhatti, store director at Specsavers Solihull and Shirey, said: “Fundraising is really important to us in-store.
“Macmillan is an amazing charity, and we are looking forward to raising funds to support its work.
“Our customers and the local community are always so supportive with our charity activity.
“We realise that times are tough at the moment, due to the ongoing cost of living crisis, so any donation will be really appreciated.”
