A SOLIHULL nursery proved it was a cut above the rest when it was handed a national award.
Woodies Childcare has been awarded the Dingley’s Promise Mark of Achievement, a national recognition for its outstanding commitment to inclusivity for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This award was given for the nursery’s dedication to providing an inclusive learning environment where all children are supported to thrive.
To achieve this award, Woodies Childcare staff met training criteria, including comprehensive courses on inclusive practices and tailored strategies to support children with SEND.
Nicola Dredger, Woodies Childcare Manager said: “We are immensely proud to receive the Dingley’s Promise Mark of Achievement. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to nurturing a welcoming and supportive environment for every child, regardless of their individual needs.”
Woodies is based in the grounds of Damson Wood Nursery and Infant School Academy.
Woodies staff ensure that the children have fun and enjoy themselves in a safe, caring and homely environment.
The children who attend have access to all the school play equipment, hall, library, playground and Forest School area.
