Birmingham Dogs Home announces PJ Ellis as first ambassador

ONE of the region’s most loved charities – Birmingham Dogs Home – has announced PJ Ellis as its latest pack member and first charity Ambassador.

As a proud Brummie and even prouder dog Dad, especially since adopting his Yorkshire Terrier Bo from Birmingham Dogs Home in 2020, PJ will be helping to support and amplify the charity’s mission.

One of PJ’s first duties as an ambassador will be representing the charity at the world’s greatest dog show — Crufts 2024 — on March 8.

During the event, PJ will be meeting budding dog lovers and promoting an exciting competition.

PJ Ellis said: “I am so honoured to be an ambassador for Birmingham Dogs Home.

“I feel so passionately about our wonderful city and the work of this charity, especially after adopting a dog of my own from them. Little Bo has changed our lives and is now the waggy centre of our world.”

Fi Harrison, head of fundraising and communications at Birmingham Dogs Home, added: “We are so proud that PJ is going to be working with us to spread the love and joy.

“With PJ by our side, he will help us change the lives of thousands of dogs for the better”.
