CHILDREN spending time at Birmingham Children’s Hospital were visited by Solihull Moors Football Club and the Moors Foundation.

A group from the Club and Foundation, including Eddie Turner, Joe Butler, Scott Langford, Kate Willetts and players Conor Wilkinson, Jamey Osborne and Jake Wakeling, spent the afternoon loading and transporting large crates of presents throughout the hospital to ensure every child had something special to wake up to on Christmas Day.

The visit formed part of the Club’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and charities and proved to be a truly uplifting experience for everyone involved.

Kate Willetts, marketing manager at Solihull Moors, said: “It was such a wholesome afternoon and one we’ll all remember. Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces as we delivered presents to each ward made it incredibly special.

“We left feeling like we’d genuinely done something good for the kids and the charity and we’re grateful to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for welcoming us in.”
