AN OUTSTANDING Solihull school will close its doors for the final time next month.
Little Learners Montessori Preschool in Solihull will shut on July 11, after 30 years.
The school which is based in St Helens Church said it’s closing ‘due to the increasing pressures and challenges created by recent government policies affecting the early years sector’.
Raju Surelia, head of the St Helens Road school, welcomed the very first pupil through the doors 30 years ago and has been at the helm ever since.
Mrs Surelia is also stepping down and retiring.
She said: “There is nothing I would love more than to hear from past pupils—where life has taken you, what you’re doing now, and how Little Learners was part of your journey.”
In her final weeks at Little Learners, Mrs Surelia hopes to see some familiar faces.

As Solihull’s only Montessori preschool, Little Learners became known for its nurturing, creative environment and commitment to excellence.
Under Mrs. Surelia’s guidance, the school achieved Ofsted Outstanding status and supported 592 children to grow into confident, curious learners.
