Solihull Metro Bank appeals for donations for those in need this Christmas

Solihull Editorial 29th Nov, 2023   0

METRO Bank’s Solihull store is collecting donations in store to help support the Solihull Moors Foundation as part of its Christmas Community Campaign this winter.

The Foundation is centred on improving the quality of lives for everybody in the community and works alongside charities to ensure opportunities are enhanced for those who are in need in the wider community.

Solihull residents and businesses can donate non-perishable food, toiletries and household items to help feed the most vulnerable at the High Street store.

“As a community bank our colleagues and customers want to support those most in need this Christmas through this fantastic local charity,” said Solihull Metro Bank Store Manager, Kulvinder Dhanda.

“We would encourage everyone to give a little this Christmas – even one tin can make a difference.  I want to thank everyone in advance for their generous support.”

All donations are welcome at Metro Bank’s Solihull store located at 119 High Street, Solihull B91 3SR.

The store is open Monday – Saturday: 8.30am – 6pm and 11am – 5pm on Sunday.

Solihull Metro Bank is also part of the Safe Space scheme – the store is available to anyone experiencing, or at risk of domestic abuse, providing the opportunity to safely call a helpline, support service or loved one.
