THERE wasn’t any pink custard in sight when Solihull Mayor enjoyed lunch with Marston Green Infant Academy pupils.
To mark National School Meals Week (NSMW) 2023, the Mayor, Councillor Diana Holl-Allen headed to the school to find out exactly how tasty the menu is.
The annual celebration, hosted by the Local Authorities Caterers Association (LACA), aims to highlight the importance of healthy school meals to help children be at their best during the school day.
The Mayor said: “All the food looks delicious! There’s a good range of options to choose from and it’s great to see the pupils tucking in and enjoying lunch together in such a friendly environment.
“It was a pleasure to share such a lovely meal with the pupils.”
