THE Lord-Lieutenant of the West Midlands, John Crabtree OBE, visited Solihull to sign one of the books of condolence for Queen Elizabeth II.
He visited Lord Mayor Coun Ken Meeson at the Council House, where the two wrote their personal messages in memory of the late Queen.
Together they read many of the messages from our residents paying tribute to The Queen.
The book at the Council House is open to members of the public.
There is also a virtual book on the Council website.
The books will remain available over the coming weeks. They will then be forwarded to Buckingham Palace as part of the national tribute to Her Majesty.
