A SOLIHULL man who robbed three women on the same road within a week has been jailed for four-and-a-half years.
Rory O’Gorman, of no fixed address, snatched the handbags of a 77-year-old and two women in their 60s between July 4 and 10 on Stratford Road, Shirley.
The 22-year-old was identified from a social media post and admitted the offences at Birmingham Crown Court last Friday (August 10).
The court heard he had resorted to crime to fund his crack cocaine addiction.
All three women suffered minor injuries as O’Gorman wrenched their bags from them, but thankfully they have made full recoveries.
