Solihull man charged for possession of drugs and firearm with intent to cause fear

A SOLIHULL man has been charged with possessing drugs and a firearm with intent to cause fear.

It follows a police raid last week.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Andrew Rooke, a driver from Oxford Grove in Chelmsley Wood, Solihull, was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear, possession of a firearm without a licence, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of a class B drug.

“The 30-year-old was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Saturday (February 2).”




The case has been referred to Birmingham Crown Court on March 5.

Rooke is on conditional bail with a curfew between 6pm and 6am.
