SILHILLIANS are being invited to take a peek behind the scenes at Solihull Hospital.
Tours of the current operating theatres and a chance to see the construction of the brand-new state-of-the-art theatre block are set to be on offer at the family-friendly open day and job fair at the Lode Lane Hospital on October 14.
From 10am until 3pm there will also be the chance to look around the hospital site, find out about job vacancies, meet different teams, practice clinical skills and learn more about the services provided.
Presentations will take place in the education centre at 10:30am, and 1pm.
As well as touring the site to see what working life would be like at Solihull Hospital, visitors will be able to find out more about jobs in facilities, catering, therapies, theatres and nursing.
There will also be free face painting and balloon modelling, and a variety of refreshments on offer.
The Healthcare Careers Development Team will also be on-hand to support with apprenticeships and job applications.
