A SOLIHULL hearing centre has raising £130 for charity.

The team at Specsavers on Drury Lane donated £2 to the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID) for every customer feedback survey they received in March.

Nilam Yaqoob, store director, said: “We always welcome customer feedback to help us improve our services, and we’re delighted to be able to raise money for charity at the same time.

“The RNID support so many people who suffer from hearing loss, so we’re keen to show our support.

‘We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who filled out a form and helped us reach our fundraising target.

“We’re looking forward to running more initiatives like this in future, especially when the store undergoes some exciting changes in the next few months, and we can welcome more people through our doors.”

The RNID was established more than 100 years ago and funds world class research about hearing loss, along with campaigning for a more inclusive society.
