A SOLIHULL fitness instructor has raised more than £1,200 for the NHS.
Ellie Fraser, who recently launched the company EL-FIT, was determined to bring some positivity into people’s lives by helping people keep a healthy mindset by conveying the message ‘no-one is alone and we are all in this together’.
Ellie provided free weekly workouts online for all abilities, along with dance classes for children.
She set-up a JustGiving page for the NHS charity and originally set a target of £500.
But there was such a generous response from all those taking part, she surpassed the £1,000 mark and is now up to 1,210.
Ellie said: “I am truly overwhelmed with the results and it has proven to everyone what a strong, inspiring and loving community we have around us.”
She contacted the Observer to help increase the amount of positivity and to convey her message about how exercise can help everyone have a healthy mind, as well as a healthy body.
