Solihull dog rescue charity invites residents to help homeless hounds

A SOLIHULL dog rescue charity is inviting people to help homeless hounds by offering foster homes.

DogwatchUK saves abandoned dogs and keeps them safe while it finds loving families to take them into permanent care.

The charity is run by dedicated volunteers and it is always seeking new canine carers to join its cause.

Spokesperson Katrina Wright said: “We value our foster families highly and we have a positive approach to homing where people can view the dog in a natural home environment rather than in kennels.

“The more foster homes we have the more dogs we can help and there is no cost whatsoever to the foster homes as we provide everything needed.”

Those interested can get more information at a ‘Fun Dog Show’ on June 9, in Damson Lane Recreation Grounds.

The event will be supported by Friends of the Park, Knowle Training Club and Yes Good Dog Behaviour and Training.
