Sarah Mason 17th Nov, 2021

STUDENTS, staff and parents at Solihull College and University Centre fell silent to honour Armistice Day.

The Public Services students drill and parade was led by lecturer and RAF Reservist, Kim Killeen, and Army Paratrooper Reservist, Will Bishop, ahead of the two minute silence on November 11.

They were joined at the Blossomfield campus by members of West Midlands Police and West Midlands Fire Service, which included two former Public Service students, who led the inspection of the students in their uniforms.Public Services courses train students in the skills needed to join the armed forces, police or fire service, so students and staff are always eager to honour those who have sacrificed their lives for others.
