SOLIHULL choristers were among those to surprise Britain’s Got Talent judges with an impromptu audition.
The 300-strong Pop Voices Choir took to the red carpet to ahead of the semi-final of the show.
Their audition was aired on Saturday (April 12) on ITV and saw the community choir make show history when receiving six yes’s from the judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli and presenters Ant and Dec.
Pop Voices welcomes anyone with a passion for singing, regardless of their musical background.
The choir, which boasts several hundred members, is primarily based in Solihull but has expanded its reach with groups in Kenilworth, Wootton Wawen, Redditch and even as far as Wales.
Musical Director Anya Small said “This was the most amazing experience for our choir and I am so proud that we got to perform for the BGT judges.
“We are just ordinary people from all walks of life ranging from eight to 92 years of age creating wonderful memories together.”
