MUSIC, friendship and laughter can be heard once again as a Solihull choir has begun practising in person once more.

After 18 months away choristers from Everyone Sings are back at Solihull WI Hall on Warwick Road.

Since reopening the doors Helen Williams, musical director and soprano at Everyone Sings, has decided to welcome members to sessions half and hour early so they have a chance to catch up.

She said: “I think everyone is grateful to make up for lost time having experienced a sense of isolation and loneliness during the last 18 months.

“I think our members are thrilled to be back as they’ve really missed the singing and social contact during the pandemic.

“For many, our sessions are the highlight of their week.”

The choir has sung Blue Moon and True Colors but also sing songs from the musicals, pop songs and folk songs.

Everyone Sings is looking for new members to join.

The sessions are held every Tuesday, doors open at 10.45am and the singing starts at 11.15 until 12.45pm.
