A SOLIHULL care home has been named as one of the Top 20 home care providers in the West Midlands.
The award is based on the home care provider’s reviews from the people they care for, plus their friends and relatives.
Nearly a million disabled and older people receive care at home so they can stay living independently in their own homes.
This includes help with getting dressed, washed, preparing meals and drinks and administering medication.
With an ageing population, the number of people receiving home care is set to increase.
Belmont @ Home manager Samantha Anderson said: “As a team we feel really happy with the knowledge that we are making a difference and we will continue to go that extra mile.”
Adam Hutchison, managing director of Bemont Healthcare, said: “As a growing organisation starting new services, especially ones that are a bit different and innovative is always a challenge.
“This award, in such a short space of time since the service inception, is a testament to the team we have in place and how they are a credit to Belmont.”
