A CARE home in Balsall Common is hosting an event to support the community to prevent falls.
In conjunction with ROSPA, Harper Fields are running the session to support families and the community to prevent falls in elderly relatives.
Complications of falls can include distress, pain, loss of self-confidence, reduced quality of life, loss of independence and can lead to being hospitalised.
A spokesperson from the home said: “Become a falls fighter and join us to make a difference for yourself and others.”
The event is being held on December 22 starting at 2.30pm.
