The 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of robbery after the alleged incident on Piccadilly Close in Chelmsley Wood on Saturday (June 15).

Police arrested the suspect at his home and recovered an axe, a hammer and a machete.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “The man was making a delivery to a house at 2am when he was approached on the footpath by two people who threatened him and demanded money.

“He handed over cash and food to the men, who ran off.
