CELEBRATIONS were the order of the day as Solihull Blossomfield Townswomen’s Guild marked its 50th anniversary.
Members of the group got together at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Solihull for lunch, entertainment and to meet some of the founding members Mary Miller and Edna Spring, who cut the celebratory cake.
The duo were presented with a bouquet by Sue Smith OBE, the Chairman of Birmingham Federation of Townswomen’s Guild.
The group, meet on the first Thursday of each month at Solihull Royal British Legion, Solihull take part in various things including theatre visits, quizzes and lunch clubs.
