Solihull basks in sunshine on hottest day

Solihull Editorial 20th Jun, 2022   0

AS TEMPERATURES soared across the borough last week many found ways to cool down.

On Friday, June 17 – the hottest day of the year so far – temperatures rose to 30-degrees in Solihull.

Sun seekers hit the parks to top up their tans and families headed out for a cool treat in the glorious sunshine.

The wildlife in Brueton Park including a heron and a pigeon basked in the sunshine before heading off to a shady nook to cool off in.

Observer photographer Marcus Mingins headed out to capture these pictures.
